Trails opening!

OK,

Our plan at this time is to open our gates in the days leading up to this weekend, December 30th and 31st 2017. It is going to be slow as this wind that we just received has blown a number of trees over and we will not open gates that lead to blow-downs. If you or anyone you know has information about any issues on the trails please email us at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. Keep in mind, we are few and we have regular jobs. We will get to these as soon as we can.

Our primary grooming focus will be on Trail 4 (the railbeds) as no lakes are safe and the cover on Trail 402 (powerline to Wilton) as well as Trail 403 through Annett St Forest is still very thin. We will do what we can do providing there is enough snow. If you’re riding; STAY on the trails and expect EARLY season conditions. Open water bars, blow-downs etc.

Let’s hope for more snow so we can get all of our trails in great shape. Anybody willing to clear any trail obstruction(s) (caused by Mother Nature) GO FOR IT!

And finally, to all of you hot-shots out there riding along Rt.202 by Dunkin Donuts…. You may think it’s “cool” to till up the grass while you’re “hill-climbing” but what current (and perspective) landowners see is their land being torn up. This is one of the best ways for the clubs to lose land owner permissions and for trials to close. Please be respectful of other people’s property.

Thanks-

The Sno-Moles
